The Restaurant

For over 30 years, the Ortiz Family has celebrated Mexican tradition by using the freshest ingredients to craft authentic cuisine. Starting with "El Cielito Lindo" in South Beach in 1991, later renamed "El Rancho Grande," they became known for exceptional Mexican food, margaritas, and legendary Cinco de Mayo parties. In 2006, a successful second location opened in Kendall, offering catering, live mariachis, and outdoor seating. In 2013, they reimagined their South Beach location as "Tequiztlan Tequileria and Cocina Mexicana" in Sunset Harbour, featuring vibrant decor, unique ceramic tables, and a vast selection of tequilas and mezcales.
